I LOVE YOU, TOKYO

There's a magic to Tokyo that never ceases to amaze me. I am constantly finding new things to explore, even after living here for two years. Take for example, this past weekend when I went to Tokyo tower with my friend Yuki and we both actually went inside for the first time ever! We got a ticket to go up to the view deck and saw an awesome 360 view of the surrounding Tokyo area. It was a bit rainy that day, but it created a different kind of hazy magic over all the buildings and the sky. ahhhh....city living. Another blessing of spending time in the city is I am constantly inspired by anything and everything. Just the other day I was on the train staring out over the city when this old hymn popped in my head out of nowhere... Turn your eyes upon Jesus, look full in His wonderful face. And the things of earth will grow strangely dim, in the light of His glory and grace!

I am forever grateful for everyday I get to call Japan home and constantly humbled by the fact that I have only scratched the surface of things to explore here.  Praise God for being an amazing creator, incredible teacher, and good good father!
