yowzahhh! and just like that...I am back in Japan.
What a week that was! I arrived back in Japan Monday night (7pm). On the plane ride back the Japanese lady next to me kept looking at me when I answered the stewardess "apple juice, please" or "I'll have the chicken" in English. At the end of the flight the lady asked where I was going and I told her I was going to Kashiwa, where I am an English teacher. Her eyes widened and she said in Japanese, "ohhh that's why your pronunciation is so good!" haha I guess she thought I was a native Japanese speaker! I laughed at the encounter and knew I was definitely back in Japan...where I get complimented for speaking English well haha. I'll take it!
Well, as of now I have A LOT of photos to sift through and will be blogging a lot about my time back home. I am so thankful for the time I was able to spend back in LA eating as much guacamole as possible and hugging my nieces and nephews extra tight.
